
Yasmin Aljedawi
Yasmin Aljedawi is Advocacy Lead at Sync, a Global Digital Wellbeing initiative based at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), where she translates digital wellbeing research into policy and institutional dialogue across diverse cultural contexts. Trained in computer science and data science, Yasmin’s early work focused on large-scale modeling and forecasting, including energy systems and complex datasets. She later worked with brain and cognitive data under neuroscientists at the Max Planck Institute, shaping her interest in human judgment, behavior, and decision-making in digital environments. This trajectory now informs her work on global digital wellbeing, bridging technical systems, cultural norms, and public policy in the context of rapid AI adoption.
