Co-founder and Director
Smartphone Free Childhood
Daisy is the cofounder and director of Smartphone Free Childhood. The movement began spontaneously in February last year after an Instagram post she wrote about not wanting to buy her 8-year-old a smartphone went viral. At the time, she was editing Positive News, the world’s only solutions-focused journalism magazine. Before that, she spent ten years at The Times as a features editor and was staff writer at The Big Issue. She now leads SFC’s strategy and communications across a UK network of more than 350,000 parents, with 40 international spin-offs.
