Logging Off Club

Adele Zeynep Walton is an online safety campaigner and author of Logging Off: The Human Cost of Our Digital World. Adele lost her sister, Aimee, to suicide in 2022, after Aimee spent time on an online suicide forum. Adele's grief led her to start campaigning on the profound impact that unregulated digital technology - from social media to AI - can have on young people’s lives. She works as an online safety campaigner with Families and Survivors to Prevent Online Suicide Harm and Bereaved Families for Online Safety. She has spoken on these issues on the BBC, CBC, Channel 4, Sky News and more. She regularly works with parliamentarians and policy-makers, bereaved families and parents to campaign for tech accountability and suicide prevention. She is also the co-founder of Logging Off Club, a global movement promoting community and connection through their phone free events.
